Bertha Thomas (She/Her)
President
Bertha grew up in Mexico City’s colorful, bustling heart, then set her sights on Virginia in 2015, where she’s been building community connections ever since. With a BA from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and a Holistic Health Coach certification from NYC’s Institute of Integrative Nutrition, she’s worn hats in internal communication, hospitality, and now as a lead teacher guiding kids in nature at Potomac Vegetable Farms. Bertha believes passionately in the power of nourishing food to bring people together and create a resilient community. She’s driven to help the co-op inspire healthy, sustainable choices for Winchester and beyond. Whether she’s practicing yoga or rallying the co-op for a greener future, Bertha finds joy in good food, good friends, and a healthy dose of teamwork.
