Born and raised in Winchester, Dan brings both local roots and big ideas to the co-op. After studying at the University of Virginia, he took on roles as a Coordinator for the Cognitive Aging Lab and as a Research Consultant at Gallup, where he helped boost employee and customer engagement. Dan’s passion for re-localizing Winchester’s food supply and building resilient green spaces fuels his involvement in the co-op. Inspired by his permaculture studies, he envisions a community where neighbors work together to grow food sustainably. When he’s not mapping out ideas for a greener Winchester, you’ll likely find him experimenting in his own backyard.
