1. Introduction: Thank you for joining the Winchester Co-op Market (WCM) as a volunteer. Your contributions are invaluable in helping us achieve our mission of empowering positive change and enhancing community well-being through sustainable food choices. 2. Volunteer Expectations: As a volunteer, you are expected to: Adhere and withhold WCM’s mission and values. You will complete all assigned tasks to the best of your ability. You will respect the confidentiality regarding the WCM's operations, and member information, as well as the location at which you are volunteering. You will follow WCM's policies and procedures, as well as the location at which you are volunteering. You will communicate any issues or concerns promptly to your committee lead. 3. Code of Conduct: Volunteers are expected to: Treat all members, staff, and fellow volunteers with respect and kindness. Maintain a professional and positive attitude. Refrain from any form of harassment or discrimination. Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. 4. Time Commitment: Volunteers are expected to commit to the agreed-upon schedule and inform their committee lead of any changes in availability as soon as possible. 5. Training and Support: The Co-op will provide the necessary training and support to help you succeed in your role. 6. Confidentiality: Volunteers must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary or sensitive information related to the co-op. 7. Liability and Safety: The Co-op is committed to providing a safe working environment. Volunteers must follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards immediately. 8. Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. If under 18, volunteers must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. 9. Termination: The Co-op reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s involvement for any breach of this agreement or conduct that is deemed inappropriate or harmful to the Co-op. 10.
